Below is a quick overview at the growth and expansion of our company in Las Vegas, NV.

Based in Las Vegas, Petra Construction is a well operated commercial construction company. Since its inception, our company has matured into a successful and dependable construction company. We have been operating in Las Vegas since 2008, and over the years we've worked with some of the biggest names in the business. Our latest project was actually supplying the metal building and erecting (the steel portion of) the City National Arena, the official NHL Practice Arena for the Vegas Knights, #VegasStrong.

Our Experience, along with a clean slate with the Nevada State Contractors Board, has kept us consistently busy through the years. City National Arena, the practice facility for the Las Vegas Golden Knights NHL hockey team, was a collaborative effort between Petra Construction, Leo A Daly architecture and the Golden Knights. 2017 winner of the Star Master Builder of the Year Award, City National Arena houses first-rate facilities and has been a welcome addition to the Summerlin, Nevada community. Petra Building Systems, LLC scored with City National Arena, an NHL Hockey Practice Facility. This 146,000 sq. ft. arena includes structural concrete floors, elevators, stone and stucco finishes integrated with metal sheeting.

Double-Lok Standing Seam was used on the roof and EFIS over metal stud framing and Artisan panels were used on the walls.

The aesthetically pleasing arena and Petra Building Systems were also presented the Best of the Southwest District Award as well as the most prestigious Master Builder of the Year Award for 2017.
